Planet Umi On Haitus

I am rather uncomfortable in saying that the development of Planet Umi must be put on haitus, especially since the game has been taken so well by the online community. But why must I put on hold this beautiful creation of mine? Well, because school is taking over my life and taking over your wife and it’s cutting my time like a knife. Yep, life’s a bitch, and then you die.

But once I have some time, I am planning to implement some new shindigs into Planet Umi which I believe will take the game into a new direction:

  • Enemy creatures will appear during key events and attack your helpless, supple Umis
  • You must build/train Fighter Umis that will counter these enemy attacks
  • Also, I will probably be implementing new background music, even though the Chrono Trigger soundtrack is just..so..awesome. I suppose there are some copyright issues that I do not want to be caught up in. This just comes to show that you cannot always get what you want, because the Man will lay his righteous hand upon your naughty buns.

So until next time, stay cool, bitches.

Sorry to hear it. School > Games anyway.

But know that I’m glad to play whatever you make — I don’t care how fast it comes out. Planet Umi is really interesting and I enjoy the limited play time I’ve had with it.

Keep up the good work!

Hey, sorry that school is being a bitch.

It looks like we have a lot to look forward to… I really like the idea of enemy’s, and I was actually wondering about that the other day. Maybe even entire enemy cities? (world map? IDK…).

I’m eager to see what the future holds for this project.
