That’s A Spicy Meat-a-ball!

So I was cruising the interweb and noticed that my game received several (about 200) downloads from Italy.  So I made like Carmen San Diego and discovered that my game was featured on an Italian video game website, how fucking cool is that?

Welcome to PlanetUmi.com!

With my robotic mind, I hereby give birth to this brain child. Planet Umi aspires to be something grand and wonderful, but one never knows how well such a game will be taken by the erratic human community. I began my journey of developing this game around the end of March 2008 and have received several delicious emails in support of Planet Umi. Oddly enough, several of the emails were from Mexicans and Italians whose words I barely understood, but loved nonetheless.

Some people may hate you, and claim they love you, don’t let them fool you; however, Planet Umi loves you — it doesn’t care if your fat, socially oppressed or if your skin color is ‘Indian Red’.  This game was developed using Python and Pygame and is my very first video game project. Also, I have decided to make my game open source simply because I like the word “open”. That means that not only is the game free as in ‘free beer’, but it is also free as in ‘free speech’. No, I don’t need no money to mess up my brain and drive me insane.

Anyhow, I started PlanetUmi.com in hopes that it will be a nexus for information about my silly little game, even though most people probably won’t give a flying rats ass. But what I do, I do for love. So sit back, chill like penguins in subzero icebergs and respect the architect, as I begin to build.
